How much have they jumped in your areas today? Yesterday here in Pittsburgh, Pa for regular was $2.59. Today, prices have jump 20 cents or more. Heck, my local TV station showed one station showing regular for $2.99. And they are predicting gas prices for regular going as high $4.00. This is just unreal. And I know when I get married and if I father a girl, Katrina ain't going to be one of the names I would name here, that's for sure.

You guys should really stop complaining about fuel prices. You still have the cheapest gas in the world. Here in New Zealand our gas is costing us at the moment the equivilent of US$4 a gallon

Well we aren't used to that either, our gas prices have risen at the same rate as yours. I was just giving you a comparison of how much worse it could be

2.79 here in Duluth Minnesota, but if you go just over the bridge into Superior Wisconsin gas prices are always 20 cents higher.

mmartinfan, have you ever had prices jump 30+ cents in less than 16 hours?  No?  Untill you have something like that happen, please don't comment on our gas prices.

Um yes. You are a very big country. Your gas prices directly effect our gas prices. So we get the same increases you do.

i think we be better off if there weren't so many taxes on gas. it would be about 80 cents cheaper withoug state and federal taxes

I filed my car this morning for $2.54/gallon (Orlando). When I drove by the station this afternoon it was $2.79.
That's a pretty big jump!
