Carl to Stan Hover Motorsports?

I am hearing that Stan Hover is working on sponsorship for next season and to put Carl in the car.  Anyone else hear this?  They worked well together in 2004.

The team has a decent shop and seems to be very professional...but the lack of speed makes me a little wary but sponsorship and a talented driver would fix that situation!

the team hasnt run much in 05, i thought they had even closed up shop before I heard Carl was going back to run the last race with them.

I havent heard any this when I talked to Carl on Monday I think it was. Maybe that with Hover is Carl's "fallback" plan if he can't get anything else rolling.

Stan's been around a while, thats gotta mean something, he's never really had a MAJOR sponsor, he brough Hooters back into the Cup series with Kirk back one year at Daytona with a big orange ford, he almostgot Haynes to come in with Sheapherd a few years back as well.

Yeah, his team's never had a wildly successful run or a large scale sponsor, but he's been around for a long time.  Even when times are tough he still sticks it out and comes back to try again.

As far as Carl's future goes, I really think Carl is going to end up with MWR and Toyota.  Here's a few points supporting this:

1. Toyota has said in the past they are willing to work with Carl Long.
2. Carl has the connection to the Waltrips.
3. Aaron's has sponsored Carl on 2 occasions this year.
4. MWR is set to bring 2 Cup teams up in 2007 when Toyota makes the move.

well michael waltrip will drive 1 toyotat anjd i bet reutiment will have the other. i am not jumping through hoops over Hover but i am sure with some work they could get some good equipment there. And Stan is a very smart man. He runs a pretty good arca team.
