The first stock car that Dave Blaney ever drove was owned by Stan Hover. Thats a fact.

The #80 was most definitely a Ford, not a Pontiac. NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER pay ANY attention or rely on ANYTHING that is posted on NA$CAR.comfusion!!!!

Some of you thought I was full of it when I posted this. Looks like it has worked out so far. Hopefully many more races to follow. Good luck Carl.

Stan Hover himself said on John's radio show that he would like to run every race. I think they're going to run the first several (cant remember the exact #) races of the season and see what happens. Sweet!

Robby's my man when Carl isn't running.

Best of luck to Carl and Stan! Can't fault them for trying. Someone find another sponsor so they can buy some horsepower. So should we assume Peak isn't going to run a second car?

Stan Hover Motorsports is by far the best team on the NASCAR circuit not to make a race this year (yet). Go #80 get some better equipment!

Or should I assume that Carl won't be driving for Peak if they have a second car.
Stan said in the interview they hope to pickup a half of a second or did he say a second and a half? Based on last year they need more like 2 and half seconds to be even close. Andy Belmont lost the draft before the first lap was complete. Glad to hear Carl has some sponsorship lined up. Would have been nice to have tested but that cost money. If Carl gets in the show he's a hero if he doesn't make it no big disappointment with low expectations. Best of luck.

As long as they can get the car to the point where it can hang onto the draft they have a chance. Look at Kevin Lepage last year. I don't think his car was one of the 43 best but he managed to hang in there and then rooted Robby Gordon out of the way at the very end.
I however am not all that wildly optimistic that this car will be able to hang in there but we'll see. At least we've got a shot.

How would you figure? Peak never even announced anything. Plus, you never know what goes on behind closed doors. Not sure exactly how things are going in their shops right now.... hopefully for the good
