Just looking at the times quickly we've got Cope 29th, Blount 34th, Barrett 44th and Carl 47th (still no time one hour in) - the rest have gone pretty quick by the looks of things - gonna be a tough field to make.

Chaffin is 6th!

Carl has completed 9 laps with a best of 30.736 (44th). By the looks of the times being set out there at the moment, he's going to need to pick up around half a second to make the field.

Session complete. As I said, Carl needs another half a second probably to make the field. That said, I suppose at least he seems to have a reasonable car, if not a grounbreaking one.

I have to go to bed now as I'm working from 1.00am UK time so I wont know if he's qualified untill I get up. Best of luck!

Big pick up from what he had ran after 6 laps, lol. I think he can make it in, hopefully. Looks like Labonte's past champion provisional could hurt us.
