The admin at the BrentSherman.com forum is saying that he knows 100% that Brent will not be in the 49 car for Darlington. So...maybe Mike Wallace really will drive it again?

Robby's my man when Carl isn't running.

I wonder what that means to the Serta sponsorship if Brent Sherman isn't in the car? I think Carl has a tall order in front of him for this weekend but I think he's up to it.

Stan Hover Motorsports is by far the best team on the NASCAR circuit not to make a race this year (yet). Go #80 get some better equipment!

where beating a dead horse. Brent knows he has no reall driving opurtunities out there sinse he hasn;t proven himself in any series really except maybe the few arca races he ran. He wants to race and his only shot is to try and learn at BAM. Only other posibbility is take the sponsorship money over to FBR PLEASE get a spell check system on here, or take a few seconds to proof your posts.

The forum comes with a spell checker, but it doesn't jive with something on the server. It is enabled but not showing up.
I would like to take this time to encourage some of you out there to take a little more time in your posts and TRY to make your posts a little more readable. As much as I hate to say it, a post with a ton of typo and spelling errors make that post look a little less credible. I'm not the grammar police, but it would be cool if some of the posts weren't so hard to read.

Don't shoot me here for saying this but.... Perhaps, if things with the 37 dont work out, Carl could hit up BAM racing. We know they have decent equipment. We have seen what Kenny Schrader could do in the car. Yes i know its not a winning operation but atleast it is a full-time, competitive team! I view it as an option.

sorry i have to disagree.
i think bam is a better team. not by much, but last year they made every race and had a crapload of top ten runs. most of them were spoiled due to wrecks or whatnot. how many top ten runs has peak ever had going?
bam isnt showing that theyre actually a mediocre team. this year theyve looked awful. mainly because of a rookie driver (who is very raw) and a rookie crew chief. thats a terrible combo.

I don't know, I've been trying to figure this out. Its a "sideways" move more than anything, I think. I guess LePage has more faith in BAM keeping a team running out of their own pocket than he does in FRM. And to be honest, I do too. BAM has done it many times before, and if they can survive the Shawna Robinson era, they should be able to regroup from the Sherbert era as well. The big question is, what happens with the sponsors? Where does RoadLoans go? Did they have a deal with PEAK or LePage? What about AMP? Even though Rou$ch STOLE them away, they were still on the car the past 2 weeks. I honestly don't know how Bob Jenkins is doing this. I've seen this sport just thrash through multi-millionares like a shark through jello. I mean look at all of the teams/owners with mega-bucks backgrounds that NA$CAR has destroyed over the years. Many of them had pretty succesfull teams as well. Far exceeding FRM's on track performance. Then they left the sport mutilated, destroyed, desolate and in quite a few cases, in jail or debt for the rest of their lives. Look at Martin Birrane...for those of you who remember that far back. Had that huge deal with Long Horn Steak houses. John Paul (sniff, sniff) JR driving. Deal fell through. He went with Wobbly Hillin JR. This is a billionaire from Ireland. He bailed out of the sport after only a year or 2 with part time schedules after a huge loss. He later went on to purchase LOLA cars after their Formula 1 debacle. I mean jeez...the dude has enough money to BUY Lola cars, AND their now defunct F1 team, several race tracks across the world, but can't afford NA$CAR. I know John and a few others say we have no idea about this man's wealth, but I just can't see how a Taco Bell owner and glove manufacturer has enough cash to run 2 Cup teams almost completely out of pocket. But whatever he's doing, I hope he keeps on doing it. Because I have much respect for that team. They do the job right. No S&P'ing and Jenkins seems to invest money into the team in the right ways to make it competitive not just collect a quick paycheck. I hope they stick around for the long run, I'm just afraid the dude's gonna come out of this looking like he was in the lead of the "running of the bulls" and blew out a shoe.

I'll beat John and the others to the punch. You just don't know the man's wealth. Just because he runs a few Taco Bell franchises, doesn't mean he's making average. For all we know, he could be a hop, skip, and a jump away from being a billionare, but chooses not to lavishy invest his dough. Rather, save it on the side for something he enjoys. Plus being loaded with dough doesn't translate into a successful team. Remember the phony-balony Angela's Motorsports group? Harkness and Jones couldn't come up with enough of their stolen money to write a legit paycheck. And how about Larry Hedrick? Much as I love the guy, he was one of the most successful businessmen in North Carolina, but his cars never ran much more than mid pack. I doubt STAR-Team WHAT UP PLAYA? is going to get very far, even with the Wayan Brothers' lavish pockets.
Plus, Junie Donlavey probably wasn't near Bill Gates; level, but he survived for a long while. Even in the team's last years, they still showed signs of competiteness once in a while.(Hut Stricklin, Dick Trickle, etc.).
