Here we go again!  Carl is getting ready to run a race for R&J Racing and some are wondering if he will run for Hover again.   No comment to all the above post.

Key point RUN IN MORE THAN TWO RACES.  That means he would need to qualify.  If Carl Long comes out any says he is commited to race his career through the Hover shop than I would say fine I'll find another driver to focus on.  Carl hasn't said that and won't because he knows that currently Hover is a last resort. 

I'll say it again , I don't dislike Stan Hover!  I dislike teams that show up to Nextel events with equipment that should be in ARCA.  They waste everybody's time.  Sponsors dislike it has well.  This is what makes it very difficult to find quality sponsors for smaller teams.  The PR guy for these companies hear small team and they think of inferior equipment.  How many teams use 4 and 5 year chassis?  Not many.  Most teams have chassis less than 3 years old.  That wasn't the case ten years ago but times have changed.

Look, basically everyone on here wanted Carl to drive the 37 car before the season began. Now he is in the car mostly everyone wanted and now there are people wanting him to go back to Hover? It doesnt make sense especially since R&J Racing is much better than Hover.  How is Hover making all these supposed improvements? He has no funding.

Hopefully Carl will have a good run with the team, land a sponsor and all the Hover talk will be forgotten.

Yes everyone wanted Carl in the 37, but it was a lot higher quality last year than this year. Hopefully it will be a great effort at Darlington.

As for Stan, Carl drove the 80 car and outqualified the 37 at Pocono some time back, so quit whining about crap!

As for Trickle, it was old 3 months ago. Enough! PLEASE! And change your signature! Cut out the childish games, honestly.

I don't recall anyone saying that Carl should drive for Stan.  Khyle posted a question that he wanted answered.  It is a one race deal with R&J right now, some people like to look forward to seeing Carl at many races.  I personally think that R&J's equipment is not that good and Carl will have a very hard time qualifying for the race, I want to see him make the race but it will be tough.  They have had some talented drivers in this car and come nowhere close to qualifying.
