I always speak on a "lesser evil" scale because...well......I'm a loon..

But DirecTV is  worthwhile.

Good Sides:
ALL Digital!!!  .NFL Sunday Ticket....LOVE IT!!!  Possible Pay-Per-View NASCAR Coverage happening later this year.

Dish Network is being run by shady business  clones with even shader business practices.  Maybe you all have had better experiences with them in years past, but I still say, "STAY CLEAR!!!!!!" or  Dish Network. 

And since thath's the ONLY 2 satelite companies in a America (something WRONG with that?)  and Cable provides a HORRIBLE option.....seems we're stuck for now.


MORE THAN MAKES UP FOR THAT

Bad Sides:

Weather (though I must agree with Tom's Statements...its ALLLLL by location though....you may be worse off)

$5 extra per room (per reciever....unless you want to watch whatever's playing in your living room in your bedroom at the sametieme....that may be ok)
 
$5 extra per TiVo unit....WEEEEEELLLLLLLLL worth it!!!!  (plus $200 for the Tivo Reciever....still well worth it....one time payment....5 bucks is per month)

JUST MAKE SURE TO GO TO A STORE WHO SPONSORS A TEAM!!!!! NOT NA$CARP

Eh, maybe it was because this was 6 years ago and satellite TV has come along since then.  I really had a terrible experience with it.  With this race car, I really don't have a lot of extra scratch laying around to spend on cable or satellite.   

Speaking of the race car, after sunday, I will have some new, updated pics to post on here....for anyone that cares.   lol.   

Since you brought it up here I figured I'd ask.  How much does your car usually cost to race during the season?  Mine costs next to nothing, but if all goes well I want to move into the *real* racecars next season.  I asked the guys I work with about it but they're so irresponsible with money that they really have no idea what they're putting into it.
