see below.

I've taken your post and added the true story in bold inserts. Tongue

Nah KFC is for rich (poor) bastards, Mike. When we solidify a date to have the Carl Long fan convention at your mansion (tiny flat), have some of your Ferraris (Ford Fiesta 1.3) available so we can all drive around at your private island race course. (small mud bank in the canal out back.)

LoL. That is a good idea though and one I've had as part of the fan club. But we should have some kind of Carl Long Fan Gathering. I'm sure I could try and set something up with a hotel and stuff. Seeing as I'm a Touring Agent at AAA. I could probably swing a deal with a hotel to set the gathering up. We'd have to have it in like a neutral location. Of course, we'd have to make it as cheap as possible too lol.

I dated a girl who lived in Wayne. she used to live in some apts. right off Howe road about a block or so from Arbys.

That's crazy. That's like 2 minutes from me. That's the Arby's I go to and I love about a half mile east of howe rd. Wow, someone on here has heard of Wayne, MI. I mean I know you live out in Grand Rapids, or "The G" as I like to call it (since we call Detroit the D lol). But still Grand Rapids is a 2 hour hike from Wayne. I've been out to Grand Rapids quite a few times. I'm a big Arena Football Fan and I like The Rampage since our Arena team in Detroit folded a before last season.

For grins, lets try to pinpoint this a little more. Ok, at the end of Howe Rd. There was a Burger King and I think a McDonalds too. Going the other way, there is a Little Ceasers Pizza. And in the middle, there were some train tracks and a road right by there. The apts were a block down that road. Best i can do. LOL

I just bought a house in Westland, Michigan - right near Wayne.  My grandparents live in Wayne.

lol Mike well I guess the Fiesta will have to do. Can you get that beast up to 60 mph?

Those should all be for real. The reason for all the people in France and Belgium would be explained by the button exchange I did a while back with nascar-world.com (nascar_vd on here) a French language NASCAR site.

Pretty cool to get people involved with Carl's racing from other countries.

I think that would be an interesting idea to weigh in our options and possibilities for.

Thanks Tom and yes for the others. The people on the map from Belgium and France are real!
I'm a great fan of Carl Long. I wrote several subjects on Carl on my website. Many fans in Europe appreciates Carl  now. A great publicity. Howeover Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart or Dale Earnhardt Jr are very know because they are very popular and famous.

What arrived at Carl made react the visitors of Nascar-World. They are not happy. Me too because me either I'm not happy!

All the fans of Carl of the whole world are with him!

Yeah we'd have to weigh our options. It'd be nice to have Carl there and speak and greet all his fans and sign autographs, take photos, etc.

I'd say it'd be like a weekend deal. Like Friday-Sunday. We'd have like a fan dinner both nights with Carl speaking and greeting on one of the nights. We could also have games, trivia, prizes, auctions, etc.

Those are just ideas lol. As far as them becoming a reality, we'll see.

I'll bring myself because Tom is just way cool; if you're lucky i'll sign autographs for a small $525 fee. And I'm sure Jay will be able to bring some strippers, right Jay?

Oh sure....even thought it's a pain the arse to get them to drive 5 miles to work and actually show up on a consistant basis, I am confident they will drive the 200-300 miles to party with Tom.  I told them Tom is a Busch series driver....so who knows?!  lol
