Hi Carl,
I have been watching you ever since 2002, I have the #00 painted on my wall (have to change that, but you know what I mean). I am also a DJ fan, but you are right behind him in my list. I am always gunna be a fan, no matter what. Hope you can get a great ride. So in the words of Ron White, "I'm gunna pin a $20 bill to his collar and wish him the best of luck".

Hi Carl, I really enjoy watching you race and rooting you on. It really sucks what happen with McGlynn Racing, the sponsor doesn't know what they are missing out, without having you as their driver. I know you will get a top notch ride very soon and can't wait until that day. Good luck at Homestead and getting a ride for next season. I'm proud to be a member of your forum and being a moderator thanks to Tom! You're the best Carl. Best wishes, Frankie Stickley

Hey Carl!
Aaron Levin here, long time fan! I've been watching you race ever since Lowes in 2000! I came to this board a lil bit after the Coca Cola 600 and one day I got the guts to join. Sucks what happen at McGlynn at all but you know what all you have to know is you have at least 300 fans right behind your back wherever you go!

hey carl Im Steve Leffew. Ive been a fan of you and Ken Schrader for years. Since the first time I saw you on the (unfortunately) DNQ list. I started visiting this site and checking back to see how your carer was progressing. I just want to wish you the best of luck. I know that you deserve a good ride more than almost anyone out there. Again, best of luck. And did you get my mail and money?

Carl,
My name is Jay Lakins and like a lot of your fans, I have been a fan since your flip at Rockingham. Nobody else would have handled such a disasterous situation with such grace, humor and professionalism. That's what got me interested in finding out more about you. You've impressed me from the very beginning, and so have your fans. You've got a lot of people that believe in you, including myself. Beyond your obvious talent for wheeling a car around a race track, you're also one of the more down to earth people to grace this earth. You're an easy man to respect, and soon enough, another team or sponsor is going to realize that. I can't wait to see you back on the track!
Repectfully,
Jay C. Lakins, Jr. New Carlisle, Ohio

Hey Carl, This is Josh here, the "egg guy." I'm sure you remember me. I'll never forget when you invited me to visit the shop (Mansion) years ago. I really enjoyed it and I still have the stuff you gave me. I said I wouldn't get rid of it & I haven't & never will. I'm still a HUGE fan. I'll be pulling for you no matter what. Never give up. You're career is moving up, which is great. I know that is is going to get even brighter. I can't wait. Best of luck in the future! Can't wait to see you on track! Best Wishes, Josh Tew Dunn, NC

Hey Carl, Thanx for signing my Pocono pit road photo of you from your first race ever with Mcglynn by the way. I still remember vividly watching you as the last car in qualifying, and putting the pedal to the floor on your second lap to make it in the race. I been a fan of yours ever since you took that tumble at the rock. And then you came storming back the next race weekend at vegas to show all was well. I hope you find another ride soon. You could drive a car with 4 wheels barely hanging on to it and I still be there to root you on. See you at the races, REAL SOON,

Carl, I'm Vincent Delforge and I live in Namur (Belgium). I am with attention your career since Cokes 600 when you had left your car to Darrell Waltrip. I am disappointed that your association with McGlynn stops because of the decision of a sponsor. I hope of any heart to see you at the beginning of the full-time season 2006 with a good team. Victory Motorsports or another of better level. My Internet site www.nascar-world.com (site in French language) with receipt much of reactions of the European fans. They are disappointed to see you without ridel for Phoenix. I wish you with you and your family (and us fans) the most beautiful possible future in Nextel Cup. Thanks for all, Vincent Delforge

My name is Mike and I have a problem.... umm, no wait. Even if Carl doesn't read the forum much, I'd just like to join in the praise - I'm a "fur'ner" watching NASCAR and as a long-time fan of motorsport underdogs I was instantly drawn to fanship of Carl following his roll at the Rock in '04. The interview he did afterwards showed he was a regular guy trying to do what all other regular guys would do given the chance, trying to make his name as a racer in a series full of fake grins (step up chase contenders), big shades that cost more than Carl's car, bitchy superstars and huge buckets of $$ with only his talent to go on. He knows he'll never get any media hype directed at him despite being equal and moreso in talent than a number of media darlings who get interviewed each and every week despite never finishing higher than 25th but not caring as long as they can whore their sponsors on camera and take home a big paycheck.
He's a grass-roots racer, pure and simple and the world is fast running out of drivers of his calibre, so as long as he steps into a car I'll support his endeavours, regardless as to whether it's a Dodge Charger or a rusty Volkswagen Beetle.
