Be strong, Carl and DD, and remember that you have the fans behind you; and Tom, you can be the voice for all of us....you've obviously seen and heard the fans' reaction to this, perhaps you can make NASCAR heed it now.  I'm glad to see people with some media connections getting involved as well.  I'm sure there are people who don't know about the fund-raising effort yet who would be glad to participate.  I just wish more drivers had the cajones to step in and pony up a few bucks like my new hero Reutimann did.

My guess would be as a character type witness.  (unless Tom is some type of metallurgist)  Talk about the fan base, (how long we've been around, the support of the fans for Carl), how much attention this has gotten over the past few weeks, the fund drive ect.....  or.... whatever Carl wants him to say..... LOL

That sounds pretty close to around the lines of what we originally (although briefly) discussed when Carl suggested the idea.

Apparently, Carl's flight was delayed.  So, Tom is there and will be talking and hanging out with NASCAR until Carl arrives on his delayed plane!

I think everything, but especially the fine & suspension would be my guess.

NASCAR Now just mentioned the final appeal. Boris Said said (lol) he sent a check for $100 last week.  thumbsup2 thumbsup2 thumbsup2 Boris, Mike Wallace and Ricky Craven all agreed that the fine is extreme.  thumbsup2

Just wanted to update everyone.  We will not know the verdict of todays hearing until possibly the end of the week.
