Richmond: The "Underdogs"

For the Richmond race, Kirk is back, the #92 has a new driver, and there are several more things that are noted.

#7-Robby Gordon: says they have fixed the engine problems.  They did say that once before, so we'll see how it goes?
#37-Kevin Lepage: things are looking better for the team as far as sponsorship money.  Maybe they will get back on track.
#66-Hermie Sadler
#92-Tony Raines: guess Stanton is out for this week or the year?  Unsure.  Best of luck to them.
#00-Carl Long: GO CARL!
#09-Johnny Sauter
#27-Kirk Shelmerdine: got a sponsor for the race, so he is attempting it.  Hasn't been running good this season.
#34-Jeff Fuller: not running full races.  Guessing that Lajoie decided this was a waste of his time.
#75-Mike Garvey: hasn't been attempting to run entire races from what I have seen.
#89-Morgan Shepherd: hasn't been to good as of late.

I think Carl has a good chance.

Lets see here.....

I don't think Robby's team will be instantly better this week.
I liked seeing Stanton in the 92 car every week, but I can't say no to Tony Raines.
Kirk's cup days are numbered, he won't make the race.
Kinda figured the 34 team wasn't going to be running full races when I saw Fuller in the car.
Garvey will be fast on qualifying day, and fast to the garage in the race.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Morgan as the slowest in qualifying, missing the race.  Not to be cruel or anything, but his team hasn't been up to speed at all this year.

How is Hermie a lock?  Shocked  Did I miss something in practice?

Garvey and Sauter are locks.  Fuller is probable.  Doesn't look good for us.  My going home predictions are Carl or Hermie, Shepherd, Shelmerdine.

Enough speed in practice to make the field yes, but he was 38th.....not all that solid.

Back to qualifying, Kirk was slow with no surprises.  I was hoping Lepage would make it, but that team has been borderline with their speeds.  They either make a really good run, or DNQ.  Figured Fuller would miss it, glad too because the race to the garage will be with one less car.

You guys think Morgan will park it?  With the state his team is in....I think it would be a bad idea to park.

Hermie can count himself lucky today - that was another borderline qualification by the #66 team. Shame LePage missed out - it'll pain that team to know they would have gone the distance when they see a certain green car headed for the hauler early tomorrow night. Sad  At least Fuller missed the field, though I imagine Garvey will be an early park too if his other races this year are anything to go by.

Good laps by the 09 and 92 cars.

Garvey was in such a hurry to win the S+P race that he missed the entry to the garage and had to go around the track again...

Morgan deserves credit, he wasn't the first one to park.

That was sarcasm yet the truth.
