http://www.jayski.com/stats/2005grids/2005rir1-entry.htmHere's the list of the cars that are entered that are 36th or lower in points. #00 Carl Long Buyer's Choice Auto Warranty Chevy#7 Robby Gordon Harrah's Chevy #09 Johnny Sauter Miccosukee Resort Dodge #11 Jason Leffler FedEx Express Chevy #27 Kirk Shelmerdine Freddie B's Ford #32 Bobby Hamilton Jr. Tide Chevy #34 Jeff Fuller Mach 1 Inc. Chevy #37 Kevin Lepage R&J Racing Dodge #66 Hermie Sadler Peak Fitness Ford #75 Mike Garvey Jani-King Dodge #89 Morgan Shepherd Racing with Jesus/Red Line Oil Dodge #92 Tony Raines TBA Chevy Have to beat 4 of those cars to get into the race. Here's my take on this guys, I know we can beat Morgan Shepherd, Jeff Fuller, Kirk Shelmerdine and I would say Tony Raines as well. #92 qualified for 3 races so far, they have only one top 25 qualifying run at Bristol and the other two races they've started 40th or lower, good luck to Carl and McGlynn Racing in Richmond

I have to admit, it's kinda wierd not seeing Stanton Barrett listed in the #92 this week.

I wonder what happened to Stanton? He was supposed to stay with the team throughout the season I thought...

That's what I was wondering? Wonder where Stanton is? He was running for ROTY with them in Cup I thought. He may just be out for just the weekend or he may have gone to focus on his Busch team or something. Anyway, I hope Carl does well. He did great last weekend. Hopefully they can make the race and finish well. GO CARL! Josh

It should be pretty easy to make the race today. Good luck to Carl and the team.

New conundrum... given the death of the short-track car, what chances do we have now? I'm willing to bet that we'll still outpace Morgan and Kirk pretty easily but what about the others? Gordon, Leffler, Hamilton and Sauter will probably be out of reach and that leaves us having to beat two out of LePage, Sadler, Garvey, Raines and Fuller. Normally I'd say Fuller and Garvey but as they run for pretty established start and park teams I guess they'll have 100% qualifying setups on....
This is going to be a tough one. Still do-able though hopefully!
