no, he doesnt work for the team. he took a photo of the live broadcast of qualifying on tv. he wasnt at the track.

Thank god u got the boards back up!  I missed the first half of last weeks race so I missed on what happened to Carl. Then the website was down so I couldn't fine out. It was killing me!!!

who would hack Carl Long's website seriously...that's crazy. Out of all sites to hack....this one?

Maybe I can shed some light on this issue. The phpBB2 boards had serious securilty issues and hackers could use these boards to take control of a server. It wasn't so much Carl's site but it was the board that allowed it to happen. They made some changes to files to help stop the issue but the hackers kept finding ways through. you can read more about it on the phpBB website.

Thank god I had problems getting PHPBB installed on my site...I was in the process of it.   My server "catalog.com" didn't want to make it easy to install PHPBB on there...and now I know why.  I had no problems at all getting SMF installed and running.  All I had to do was get them to set up MySQL and it was up.
