Just curious of what you all think about either channel's coverage of F1.
I prefer Speed channel much more. I cannot stand to hear Ralph Sheheen for that long of a period of time, and every time CBS comes out of commercial they have a preview for an upcoming show. Annoys me anyway..............

Actually, I kinda dug CBS's coverage. I really like Speed's too. But the main goal is to market F1 in the states to a younger "more modern" demographic and I think CBS does a far better job in that aspect as to where Speed caters to the technical, die-hard junkies.
God, anything's better than the ***HORRIBLE*** shoddy attempt ABC did with it a couple of years ago!!! Anyone remember that?? I've tried to put it out of my memory, but its like witnessing a murder....you can never repress.

I usually steer clear of F1 and all other types of open wheel racing. I find watching snails move more exciting.  |
