Steve Wallace dominates ARCA @ Kentucky
« on: May 15, 2006, 12:31:45 AM »

As a long time Rusty Wallace fan, you know who my up and coming favorite driver is. (my long lost twin, according to Rusty's father)

So all of his career ARCA starts = 7th, 32nd, 1st, 4th, 10th, 1st

The thing that impresses me from Kentucky includes the BURNOUT!!!

According to arcaracing.com, the rubber laid down by the burnout caught on fire.

Didn't know burnouts could be literal... I demand that all should be so from this point on. NA$CAR loves circus acts and window-dressing - I'm sure they could add something to the tyres to make sure that during race-winning burnouts they could leave 100 foot strips of fire along the frontstretch. ive seen it happen at dragstrips during stationary burnouts. (mainly during burnout competitions, as it really couldnt happen any other time)

I remember one other time this happened: Jack Spraque in the Truck Series a few years back.  That's a pretty incredible sight to see though...it'd be nice to see more often.

Kick ass burnout, never seen that before.  Rusty probably got pissed at it though because it is hard on equipment.
