He's echoing what Bobby Hamilton, Jr. had to say when he left the team a couple years ago.  This is a team that was once strong enough to make the move to Cup.  Now, not are they falling way behind the Cup teams in Busch, they may be falling behind the other Busch teams.

Sort of sounds to me like what Darrell Waltrip was talking about with the Travis Carter 666 team back in 1999-2000. Basically, an all-around lack of committment from the crew, as well as shoddy leadership. I'd find a link, but I can't.

The sad part is the Lewis brothers were doing better with their family owned team. They had mostly a volunteer crew, limited resources, and no sponsor.  Yet they were competative.  Makes you wonder what would have happened if they would have been able to get a decenct sponsor.

I always wondered why some of the Assoc. sponsors on cup teams (or some busch teams) don't sponsor small family run teams like the Lewis family. It seems to me they would get more bang for their buck.

Sounds like Rensi Motorsports is one big mess. Charlie Lewis left the team, Sam Rensi also left . And if Ed Rensi doesn't do a complete 360 the way he runs his teams now, it could spell good bye Marines and MacDonalds sponsors

There's a terrific tie-in here to the whole S&Ping for a "cause" topic...but I'll stop beating the decaying horse.  I was just thinking what a disaster that team is when they said Charlie left.  Sad, heck even their Cup cars were pretty competitive when Hamilton was driving them.

Doing a 360's just going to have them going in the exact same direction, lol.  This board is covered with grammar lessons today, I figured I'd throw in a geometry lesson.
