Off the Peak!

Well things look somewhat bleak at Peak Motorsports.  Kevin LePaige has left the team and they form a partnership with Front Row Motorsports.  As I was told after Daytona, Peak success would be based on early results, if they had some results more sponsorship was coming if they didn't things could go south in a hurry.  Well they have went South.  Good Luck Kevin with BAM!  I hope Carl has a solid effort this weekend.  Go Fast #37!

I'm assuming since Carl had some talks with Peak earlier in the season? It's more PEAK and Lepage related though.

I figured since Carl hasn't run with Peak at all this year, the deal, whatever it was was dead.  Thanks for the insight Trickle.  Looking foward to Darlington.  Don't forget to vote.

I think something happened between Ford or RYR & Peak Racing. Why else would they combine with FRM? I think there was something business-wise that went down. Stan doesn't run around telling lies, I just think things changed, personally. Know what I mean?

Jay, where did I bash Stan Hover?  That was his quote.  Wasn't it?  My point is as Harry (thanks for your insight and comments on this situation they are spot on) points out that the idea that was floated earlier apprears dead now.  That idea was that Peak would run Carl Long in a Hover car for some races.  That was the point.  Go back and look at all the comments on this 2 team effort.  Several on here have been pulling for Peak to do well so maybe Carl would get a shot at a second car ride with Peak.  That all appears dead now.

Also, it is one thing to bash a team you don't like when you hear or read their name.  For some reason, no matter what the topic is, you are always quick to throw in a "Hover is junk" comment. We all are keenly aware that you don't like Hover. In fact, many of us question whether this is personal...but that's another subject for another day. I don't want to can you, but I can't have you on here REPEATEDLY slandering a guy that helped out Carl when he needed help. In my opinion, Stan Hover has been a very stand up guy towards Carl Long.

Stan Hover is a great guy!  I've said it before and I'm saying it again!  Is this positive?  John did the interview, all I did was quote what I remember.  I'm glad they didn't attempt many races this has given Carl a great chance to drive for R&J Racing.

Again what troubles me about a few of you on here is how selective you are to criticize some peoples thoughts (mine and a few others) but say nothing to some that made personal attacks on people like Derrike Cope after he took the #00 ride last year.  Or Morgan Shepherds for Starting and Parking.  Several people on here that talk holyer than thou where ones that personally slamed some of the above drivers with no threat of banning them.  Like most on here, I'm here to support Carl Long and his efforts.  Go Fast #37 @ the lady in Black!

I am amazed that you think you're not guilty here.  I'd venture to say that 95% of your posts are Hover related. Of all those posts, that last one is the only nice one of the bunch...perhaps because you know you're on thin ice here.

I've only been a Mod for a few months, but since I've become quick to get on anybody that crosses a line. Of the 382 members, I can only think of 3 or 4 that continuously press the boundries on here. You sir, are one of them.

I don't see anybody coming to your defense, so I must be right about my feelings towards you. In fact, I am going to put it to a vote....
