Josh, I would be there in a hearbeat if I had $$$. Darlington's only a couple of hours away and I stopped by there to take some pictures and visit the Hall Of Fame last year on my way to the beach in North Carolina about 5 months ago. I got goosebumps just pulling up to the place and when they let me on track I felt a crazy energy like never before. You can just sense the history at that place!

Have you ever been to Darlington before? Man, soak it up and have a blast!

I might be going to Nashville for the ARCA race with Richie King again this year! (woo!) Anyone ever been there? Anyone going this year? (other than "ARCAtirechanger" of course! Wink)

Went to Nashville in June 2003 for the Arca and Busch races - if you can get there DO. It's a bit like Bristol, but not quite such a bowl. All the facilities, concessions, rest rooms, etc. are at the top of the stands then you walk down to your seats. You get a brilliant view from up high, still a pretty good view further down. And yes, the garages are in the shape of a D and a W. Stands are on the front stretch, on the back stretch they park Camper Vans, they don't need seats as they can sit in the Van and watch the race. We stayed in the Holiday Inn in Lebanon which is abt 15 mins down the road, after the race we were back at the motel in 30 mins, getting in and out is really easy. A track worth going to in my opinion.

As to Darlington, yes it's good there but if they ever have a Cup race at Nashville I'll be there.

I think I might venture over for the Busch race seeing as how you can see Cup practice and qualifying (I assume) plus a night Busch race.  For $35, that's a hell of a deal.

Really you have to be a certain age? Chris said he was going to talk to someone about getting us sone for the 2nd Lowes race. If this is true this is news to me. I went in the garage last years All-Star race.

If you have your legal guardian sign for you I believe you can get in, so bring your mom or dad if you can.

Josh said he left to go to the track at like 3 pm, tried to get there before Busch qualifying. He got busch garage passes from Jay Robinson's people. I've been trying to call him but his cell doesnt have a signal or something. Bet his boys at Jay Robinson aren't having a good day with them both missing even after hiring Derrike to qualify the #49 for Jorge. Highly doubt he got any pictures of Carl's car.
