in the pre race show today kevin lepage's pit box was painted up in amp colors just like the car I am wondering if they have signed on for the year and after the 61 is locked in the top 35 will we be seeing carl run more races than predicted? lets hope so

r u sure it was paint. Some teams have vinyl decal wraps just like they use on the cars to change the pit box for each sponsor.

Yeah, it probably was that. Last week I saw it and it was white with Roadloans.com on it.

their hauler has a pretty elaborate road loans scheme on the side of it. the small sliding door that slides down over the top bay where the cars are stored in the back of the hauler had amp decals on it though. when i talked to carl friday he still said he was supposed to do a 12 race schedule this year with a peak 2nd car. there was some emphasis on the word supposed, but he said that was still the plan for now.

Don't know if it matters or not but all of the PEAK pit crew team are still wearing the generic "PEAK Performance" uniforms that they used last year with "Pit a gazillion times in the race" Hermie Sadler. 5 Bonus points for LePage though! I probably come off as a madman screaming and cheering when Kevin got his lap led today!!!

they might be close to top 35 as long as they make the race at bristol. Bristol you never know. being 20 laps down you could still get a top 30 with some of the carnage that takes place.

I'd far rather have LePage and Peak in the top 35 than non-entities like Stremme and Sherman. Would be great to have a locked in "underdog" team if they can still be classed as that.

My guess would be that he has no news. Let's hope Peak continues to do well. I do wonder though if Peak hasn't said anything to Carl as to when the next race would be then how can they get a car ready? Martinsville would be a good place to go! Our friends the McGlynn's are having a tough time. I wonder how long they will hang in their?

Stan Hover Motorsports is by far the best team on the NASCAR circuit not to make a race this year (yet). Go #80 get some better equipment!

Damage for Bristol bus Carl is very good there. It had amongst other things easily been qualified for the two races of 2005. I hope Martinsville. GO CARL

Carl left me a message back saying he had no new news. So that's a bummer...
