Errrr.  Doesn't look too easy.  Obviously I think he has the ability to do it.  Carl's the man.  But that's a hefty entry list chock-full-o well financed teams.  But regardless, I will be yelling and screaming like a madman in the stands (or hopefully pits) for him!

Speaking of, I checked out the Atlanta Motor Speedway website for activities on Friday.  Pit passes are $75 and must be accompanied by a grandstand ticket for $35.  I really want to get pit passes for Friday so there's $100 from me.  Anyone else going to the pits?  (I know Alysia is)

Do Pit Passes on Friday let me stay in the pits for the Truck Race as well?  (the website just says, "all day" but I can't imagine they'd let you wonder around, "wild" in the pits during the race?)

Again, anyone else coming to the Atlanta race, PM me or email me and maybe we can meet up!  (I've already talked with several who are coming)  I'm going to make a weekend out of it and would love to meet up with some Carl fans!

You will need to find a hot pass to be able to stick around when the trucks are running.  Ask Carl if he has any extra, most times they don't.

He's not a "full-fledged" hammer yet, I'd call him a wrench.

the term "pits" applies kind of loosely to atlanta due to how its infield is setup.  before the truck race they will let you walk up to within about 25 feet behind the pit wall.  once the trucks get ready to fire up they'll clear the area behind pit wall of anyone who doesnt have a hot pass.  however, theres still a whole section parallel to pit road running along the front of the garages thats about 200 feet behind pit road (but totally blocked from the view of pit road) that you will probably be able to stay around during the race.  i say this because the last 2 times i've gone down there to go to victory lane during the busch races there, you could still walk in the gate to get in the pit area if you had a cold pass (they had the sign flipped to cold).  however the next day they had the sign flipped to hot for the pit gate a good 30 minutes before they fired the engines up.  the pits arent really a good place to watch the race from though.  you cant see much.
