i agree.
the only reason they might not is because there is going to be an entry list near 60. and im not kidding. Nascar is going back to how it was a few years ago..50 entries each week isnt out of possibility..and for indy, daytona, sears point, the glen, and charlotte...expect 55-60

well a 1/60 shot is much better than if they dont show up at all. Thats a 0% shot. I hope they do.

For God's sake people!!  The letters S & P and the words Carl & Long should not EVER be mentioned in the same topic on this board!!! Roll Eyes

C'mon guys, gimmie a break! Angry

We ALL should KNOW that our guy would NEVER do that!!

Although today's finish is not the ultimate realistic goal we had dreamed about (maybe a top 20??)  its still a good start and I'm just glad to see Carl and the Team finish another race!!  We're on the move!!!

Props to everyone involved and it makes me even MORE mad/jealous that I had to leave town (Atlanta) on the week of our guy's best qualifying effort and best race of the year!!!   It's ok though.  I have a feeling I'll be there (whatever track it may be at) for Carl's first pole!

Yes Mattswad,
We all SHOULD know our guy would never do that. Unfortunately, not all know that. Maybe this run will get the words "Start and Park" and "Fieldfiller" away from carl Long. But I have a feeling that until carl qualifies for every race, some people are going to think of as that. Which is too bad. They have no idea the dedication Carl and McGlynn have.

Ever since during chicaoland, we have better luck in trying to run the complete the race, we got bout halfway at chicago, ran the race at bristol, ran bout halfway at dover, and ran the whole the race at atlanta

Don't forget, you have to add the 2nd Martinsville race with Cope as another compleated race.

So, that means this year, McGlynn has been running at the Checkered Flag for 3 races.  2 with Carl Long and 1 with Derrike Cope.  I'll say it's a step in the right dirrection. Grin

Glad that the race went pretty well for the team. I was on a family getaway this weekend so I couldn't see the race besides the little i heard on the radio.

Overall, I say that the race was good.  Carl kept the car clean & finished...good deal. Smiley
