Carl Long Vehicle/Chassis Sell Off

We will soon have up for sale a number of nearly complete vehicles and chassis that Carl has raced over the past few years. Carl needs to sell off these vehicles in order to raise money to get his car that was wrecked at homestead fixed so he can run it at Loudon this season. A couple of the items that will be for sale are the busch dodge that carl last used in 2004, and the truck series dodge that Carl had loaned out to various drivers the past couple of years.

There will be an ad placed in NASCAR Scene probably the weekend after this coming, but we're not sure on that. It is just going to be linking to carl-long.com mentioning the items for sale. Expect the items page up and linked on the front page later this week.

I don't think those teams will buy his stuff.  It will be a small start up team or a team like Kertus Davis that is kind of father/son duo.  Or an ARCA team if he is selling any Cup chassis.

I am glad that Carl is finally getting off the spectator rocker to the driver's seat!  Looks like we see progress afterall!

Why is he not racing this truck?
Wouldn't it be easier to get in the truck series and build off that?

that's a good question, maybe it'd just be too much work for not a lot of income. since the truck series pays so low compared to cup. the deal with fdny racing was because it wasn't costing carl personally anything major as it wasn't his own team.

hey why didnt Carl try and combine the busch intrepids and upgrade the completed car to a charger

Tom, why don't you place this stuff in an ad on racingjunk.com ? They were a sponser of Carl's once and the site gets alot of exposure. It's just a thought.
