Our driver has some speed! Nice job by Carl and crew! If they let him run, a top fifteen looks probable at this point.

Not surprising that Carl parked so quick, the 95 is a S&P truck to begin with, and they were a PE in this race, so they were literally only racing for prize money. Nice qualifying run, and glad to see Carl got some TV time. thumbsup2

Which makes it all the more embarrassing it was a park job, tbh.

Just keep hoping for better things to come I suppose.

Carl got some more track time and in arguably the best truck he's had in his career so far. Got some new coverage from DW out of the effort as well. Maybe he impressed Danny and they'll let him race the 46 in the future?

I have to agree with Mike on this one.  Carl drove the truck great in qualifying, and I believe he may have actually had the longest run on the provisional pole.  DW gave him multiple shoutouts during qualifying, then gave him the spotlight during the pace laps.  All this for Carl to be told to pull the truck in before the field even ran a full lap under green.  It's embarrassing for Carl, but hopefully at the end of all this Danny Gill feels far more embarrassed for calling Carl in.

thumbsup2 for Joe Aramendia though.  He's still running on the lead lap right around 20th.  As long as he doesn't crash he'll get a decent finish out of this and he'll be able to gain some points on the #6 and #21.

Just watched qualifying, and they really gave Carl some great compliments and TV time.I know this was a s&p but it could open some doors.

Well, look at it this way.  Carl is still tight with the #01 crew.  They tried to do a hit-and-run on DD in the garage today after the race. Tongue

I don't blame Carl as much as I do the team. I still don't understand why though didn't run it until the tires wore out. I rather have them park it because money won't allow more tires than this crap.

Well, they all laughed about it.  Sending the message that they are still tight.
