OK, that all makes sense then and I take back what I said about it being in Chicago! Of course, good luck...I'll say a prayer and keep my fingers, toes, arms, legs and eyes crossed...oh wait...scratch that last one...

It woulda made sense had it been the day after the race in Joilet.   However, one thing to note is that the following race weekend is the furthest possible location away from Daytona Beach and since it falls on a Monday... Chicago is only three hours away from Michigan Speedway ..   and if you take a look at the map route http://maps.yahoo.com/#mvt=m&lat=40.25321&lon=-103.430215&zoom=6&q1=jackson%2C%20mi&q2=sonoma%2C%20ca  its on the way to Sonoma..

So.. that being said Chicago is not a "random" location per se...      and its a great city during the summer as Tom can attest to.

Chicago is actually the location of Mr Strang.  That is the reasoning for Chicago. It has nothing to do with where the race is or where it is going to be. I really thought we were going to have to go to Daytona.

Thanks for clearing that up... Smiley     DD.. tell carl if he still ever needs pr help or anything of that ... Paul in Vegas who falls in sh*t and still turns up gold (to quote him from Indy last year) is always around and willing to do anything and everything he can possibly do to help..... I need to try to talk carl into playing some poker out here at the WSOP... that would be the ultimate fundraising gig. Smiley   Can he bluff at all?

Now I really have a bone to pick about this whole thing, nascar is always talking about their family and how much they are so close & help each other out, well is what they are doing to Carl what you would do to someone in your family, I forgot to ask him last Wednesday night on our show, might be a point to bring up at the next meeting on Monday.
