Sorry to hear about the overheating problems, but this team is certainly doing better and things are really starting to look up!

I understand everything that Carl & Tom said, with that being said we need to just move on from this. I do know that every race that Carl has made this season there has been something go on, I hate it for him. I think that the team needs to start to get ready for the races a little better, I know that they are a little one car team but I belive that they could prepair for the races a little better. If it means that they have to cut back and run less races, then that is what they need to do. If they could cut back some races but have awesome stuff for the races that they go to, that would be a plus for everyone. I think that once they get some more cars ready and start getting more things that this team will have some better runs. They have ran the same car the past 4 or so races. That is really hard to do, even if you look at how diffrent the tracks are. I hope that things can turn around for them, because this 30 laps a race thing isnt working for them. Not everyone reads this board to see after every race he had a problem, im sure some people think that he is a s&p.
I really hope that things will turn around soon, they need to for the sake of Carl Long and his whole team. I wish them the best of luck.

tom do you know any of the sponcers going to be on the car in Pocono. Last year carl shocked us all going to track with his 46 dodge (rennumbered 00) with a team we knew nothing about and made the field. We where competive until we hit the wall.
Ready for Pocono racing

I'm starting to be really discouraged by some of my fellow board members saying things like "when's he gonna finish a race?".... and "what's the excuse this time?"
They aren't excuses guys, like someone else stated, USED equipment more often than not gets USED results.
They are truly doing the best they can. As Tom stated yesterday, Carl, Ryan, and the whole team were very frustrated over the race. I can attest to that as well as Ryan sent me a brief email telling me he was not taking what happened in this race very good.
Patience is key. It will make finishing a race so much sweeter when it does happen. You can one day say "I stuck with this team and supported them through the bad times and the good". When this team does get good, Carl will gain fans, but ultimately we on this board are the diehards that were there through it all and that feels so damn good just thinking about it.
That's a true fan.

But some fans might think he is starting and parking and I don't want anyone thinking about that. I hope they can get better stuff

Some people believe in Vampires some in Santa Claus others in the Easter bunny, does it really matter what people think. Carl and the team players are the important part of the whole deal, think of it as a marriage, for better or worse, richer or poorer.
Mclynn Racing will have finishes, will blow motors, with crash along the way. But this is all part of racing and as the team matures the positives will surly out weigh the negatives. Lets stay positive with our remarks, as all our support is much needed for a small team such as this.

Howdy folks. This is a forum, right. If you only want positive comments, go see your mom.
I think this team is doing their best, will get better, and will have difficulty along the way. But, hey, maybe they should do less races, concentrate on certain "types" of cars, then details like cooling the radiator won't stop them before they have a chance to show what they can do.
The first thing I check every week is the entry list to see if Carl Long and McGlynn racing are entered and we're all dissappointed after only 20 some laps! Keep fighting guys, it'll get better!

It would be nice if the Fox/FX announcers would say something about it, all I heard was "the 00 is in the garage". Maybe the announcing will get better next month.
